Ellie Leach appeared to take a swipe at ex Bobby Brazier on Saturday as she reunited with rumoured fling Vito Coppola. 

Strictly Come Dancing duo Ellie and Vito, who won the BBC ballroom dance contest last year, looked cosy as they posed together in a pictured shared by actress Ellie on her Instagram.

Soap star Ellie, 23, could be seen beaming as she sat alongside professional dancer Vito, 31, who sat with his arm around her.

Television personality Ellie has reportedly been growing closer to Vito following her split from EastEnders cast member Bobby, 20, who finished runner-up on Strictly after Ellie last year.

Posting the picture of herself and Vito, after breaking up from Bobby last month, Ellie captioned her post: 'Spending time with people who are good for your soul. Love you @vitocoppola,' along with a red heart emoji.

Ellie and Bobby enjoyed a number of secret dates after they fell for one another backstage on Strictly, despite persistent rumours Ellie was seeing her professional partner Vito. 

Just weeks after their romance first emerged, Ellie and Bobby decided to split as their busy lives were going in different directions.

Bobby and Ellie first sparked dating rumours during in December last year and grew closer during the BBC show's tour in January and February.

However as Bobby returns to his character Freddie Slater in the BBC soap and is reportedly exploring a potential career in Hollywood, Ellie is currently touring UK theatres in the Cluedo stage production.

A TV insider told The Sun: 'Love blossomed between them when they were in close quarters on the tour, but once that ended they both spent much less time together.

'That gave them space to think about the future, which is likely to take them in very different directions over the coming year or two.

'So they decided the best thing to do was quit while they were ahead and while they were still pals, because they both really cherish the friendship they have.'

The news came after it was revealed Ellie had 'moved to London' as her relationship with Bobby blossomed.

The Strictly champion is living in the capital where Bobby lives with his dad after the pair sparked up a romance.

Ellie's cousin, actress Brooke Vincent shared she is planning to catch up with her in London during an appearance on This Morning.

She said: 'I'm actually seeing her tonight and she's moved to London I could never do Strictly since she won, she did amazing. 

'You get bored of saying how proud you are.'

Bobby, who was partnered with Dianne Buswell, came runner up on Strictly to Ellie, who lifted the Glitterball trophy with partner Vito.

The couple made their first public appearance together in February at the Hadestown play press night at the Lyric Theatre in London.

Ellie also shared a sweet loved-up selfie with Bobby after he watched her make her stage debut last month in Cluedo 2 at Richmond Theatre.

However, last month it was reported they ended their whirlwind relationship.

Despite her apparent dig this week, Ellie opened up about her romance with Bobby Brazier earlier this month, insisting they remain 'great friends'.

She spoke about the 'bond' between them that was formed during the show and the later tour, in an interview with The Sun on Sunday.

'We were the youngest people in Strictly and both going through that same experience – one which nothing can prepare you for,' she said.

'We'd obviously built an amazing friendship during the show, but it was really nice to be able to spend time with each other – and with everyone – on the tour.'

Ellie said that the tour afford her and Bobby time to be with each other and get to know one another more than wile on the TV show due to its time constraints.

She also said that being the youngest people on the show was a bonding experience as it gave them something to relate to each other on.

'We're great friends, we got along really well and we still do,' she added.
